The A&G Technology Blueprint Assessment is the main first step for most new clients who want a clear, practical understanding of their technology environment before spending money on larger work.
It is designed for both business and residential clients. A business may need help with users, cloud tools, Wi-Fi, phones, cameras, backups, vendors, and documentation. A residential client may need help with premium home Wi-Fi, smart home devices, privacy, cameras, media rooms, remote work, or backup internet.
The goal is simple: understand what is working, identify what is fragile, avoid unnecessary spending, and recommend the next steps that make the most sense.
What the assessment is
The Blueprint is a paid professional assessment, not a free sales estimate. It does not include major repairs, cabling, hardware installation, emergency response, or implementation unless that work is separately scoped and approved.
During the assessment, A&G reviews the environment, asks practical questions, looks for weak points, and explains what should happen next. Some findings may lead to small configuration fixes, better documentation, vendor coordination, managed support, or a larger project proposal.
Onsite and remote options
The assessment can be onsite, remote, or a combination of both depending on the environment and the appointment selected in Amelia.
Onsite work is best when A&G needs to see cabling, racks, Wi-Fi placement, internet handoffs, conference rooms, cameras, smart home equipment, or the physical layout.
Remote work can be useful for cloud accounts, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, remote access, documentation review, software questions, support planning, and some diagnostics.
Clients do not need to prepare much. As long as A&G has access to the relevant onsite computer, network, or account systems, many technical details can be identified during the assessment.
What A&G reviews
- Internet service, provider handoffs, routers, firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi
- Workstations, devices, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, identity, and access
- Backup, recovery, storage, security, phones, cameras, and conference rooms
- Cabling, racks, power protection, equipment lifecycle, and documentation
- Remote work, guest access, smart devices, media rooms, and residential technology
- Vendor dependencies, recurring support issues, resilience, and automation opportunities
What you receive afterward
- Written summary of what was reviewed
- Prioritized recommendations
- Equipment notes and lifecycle observations
- Risk list and immediate concerns
- Budget estimate or planning range when appropriate
- Support plan recommendation when ongoing help makes sense
- Next steps for configuration, documentation, repair, upgrade, or project work

Good fit for
- Business owners who are not sure what service to book
- Small offices and professional teams that need a clearer technology plan
- Premium homes, smart homes, and home offices with recurring Wi-Fi or device issues
- Clients planning internet, fiber, cabling, network, camera, or conference room upgrades
- Organizations considering managed IT support or a recurring support plan
- Clients who want to understand what can be kept, improved, or replaced
What happens after the assessment
A&G explains the findings in plain language and recommends the next practical step. That may be a managed IT plan, a Wi-Fi redesign, a backup improvement, a cloud cleanup, a cabling project, a provider escalation, a residential technology plan, or no major project at all.
The point is to make the decision clearer before more money is spent.
