North Hollywood runs on converted warehouses, older multi-unit buildings, and the NoHo Arts District’s theaters, rehearsal rooms, and post-production suites — spaces wired for whatever the last tenant needed, or not wired at all. When a creative studio, a rehearsal space, or a small office moves in, the network inherits every shortcut the building ever took: daisy-chained switches, mystery cables behind drywall, one consumer router carrying a whole production team. That is where we start.

The goal is a network that keeps up with the work: enough bandwidth and coverage for a studio full of machines, Wi-Fi that guests and clients can join, and wiring that is labeled and documented so the next problem gets solved, not guessed at. No one here has an in-house IT department, so we build it to run without one.
How we help North Hollywood
- Wi-Fi design and network setup for creative studios, rehearsal spaces, and small offices in older buildings
- Untangling, labeling, and documenting inherited wiring — so no one is guessing what connects where
- Network segmentation for staff, production machines, and guests sharing one building
- Guest Wi-Fi and captive portals for client-facing studios and shared spaces
- Cloud access and remote support for small creative teams without an in-house IT person
Problems we fix
- A network inherited from the previous tenant, with wiring no one documented
- Consumer gear trying to serve a production team, a rehearsal space, or a small office
- Wi-Fi dead zones in converted buildings with thick walls and long cable runs
- Guests and clients on the same network as production workstations
- Internet that slows to a crawl when everyone uploads or renders at once

Platforms and environments
We work in North Hollywood’s converted industrial spaces, rehearsal buildings, post-production suites, older multi-unit offices, and the apartments and condos above them — anywhere the building predates the bandwidth. Ubiquiti UniFi access points, business-grade routers and firewalls, and cleanly re-done cabling that we document as we go, so the next tenant or the next tech is not starting from zero.
Frequently asked questions
Can you fix Wi-Fi in a converted building without tearing up the walls?
Usually, yes. We map what is already there, relocate access points to where they reach, and reuse the runs that are good. New cable only goes in where it solves a real problem — and every run gets labeled and documented.
We share our building’s internet with other tenants. Can you make that work?
Often we can: your own equipment inside your suite, proper network segmentation, and your traffic separated from everyone else’s. Sometimes the right answer is a dedicated line — we will tell you which one it is before you spend anything.
Our last IT person left and no one knows how the network is set up. Can you take over?
That is most of our work here. We audit what exists, label it, document it, and hand you a map of your own network — then it stays maintained.
The experience behind it
