Turning a laptop-and-cables setup into a one-tap meeting room.
Client goal
A professional-services office wanted its main conference room to work reliably for client-facing video calls, without a laptop cart, extra cables, or a five-minute scramble before every meeting.
Before
The room had a TV, a soundbar, and a laptop cart, but the pieces were never set up as a single system. Calls started late, audio cut out, and remote participants often could not be heard clearly.
What A&G did
A&G assessed the room's layout, network drop, and existing AV equipment, then installed a dedicated Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams-capable setup with a proper camera, ceiling or table microphone, and a single control panel — wired into the firm's existing network rather than relying on a guest laptop.
After
Meetings now start with one tap, and remote participants can hear and be heard clearly. The room became the template A&G used to standardize the firm's other meeting spaces.
Why it matters
Good technology work should leave the client with more reliability, clearer ownership, better documentation, and fewer surprises. That is the standard A&G brings to project work and ongoing Technology Management.
Example project: conference room deployment.
A good conference room is about more than a screen. Calendar integration, audio, microphones, camera placement, training, and support all affect the daily experience.
- Challenge: meetings need to start quickly and work consistently for staff and guests.
- Approach: review room size, table size, display size, audio coverage, microphone array, calendar workflow, and user training.
- Result: a room that is easier to use and easier to support after installation.
Recommended next step
The Blueprint can identify whether the room needs equipment, training, network improvements, or a cleaner workflow.
