Adding access points without a survey is how you get Wi-Fi that looks fine on the floor plan and fails in the actual room. We walk the space with professional survey equipment and map what is really happening: the dead corner in the conference room, interference from the neighboring tenant’s access points, the client devices clinging to a distant AP in the back of the warehouse, refusing to roam. You can’t fix coverage without measuring it first.

The goal is a coverage map you can act on: where the dead zones are, what is causing them, and exactly where access points and cabling should go — documented room by room, whether we do the install or you hand the plan to someone else.
What this service includes
- On-site RF survey with professional measurement gear and heatmap deliverables showing real signal, room by room
- Interference detection — neighboring networks, Bluetooth gear, and construction materials that block signal
- Roaming analysis: where devices cling to a distant access point and won’t hand off cleanly
- Access-point placement plan tied to real cabling paths, not guesses from a floor plan
- Segmentation recommendations for staff, guest, camera, and smart-device traffic, based on what the survey found
Problems we fix
- Dead zones in conference rooms, warehouses, or the back of the house
- Wi-Fi that works at a desk but drops on video calls the moment someone walks
- Interference from neighboring tenants, dense walls, or construction that eats signal
- Too many access points in the wrong places — or too few where they are needed
- New offices built out with zero plan for where the network should live

Platforms and environments
We survey offices, retail spaces, studios, and large homes, and our placement plans work with the equipment you already own or plan to buy — most often UniFi or Meraki access points. The survey report is vendor-neutral: you can hand it to any installer.
Frequently asked questions
Can’t the Wi-Fi vendor just tell us where to put access points?
Vendor planners work from floor plans — they cannot see interference, wall materials, or the tenant next door broadcasting at full power. We measure the actual airspace, which is the part that matters.
Do we need a survey for a small office?
For a single room, probably not — and we will say so. Surveys pay for themselves in warehouses, multi-floor offices, studios, and large homes, where guessing gets expensive.
What do we get at the end?
Heatmaps of actual coverage, a list of problem areas with their causes, an access-point placement plan with cabling notes, and segmentation recommendations. Documentation you keep either way.
The experience behind it
We have surveyed wireless in studios, warehouses, and homes where coverage failures show up in the work, not just on a heatmap — so we measure the airspace, not the floor plan. You work directly with the specialist walking your space, not a call center reading from a script.
