Open the closet door in most small offices and you find the same thing: a switch sitting on a shelf held up by its own cables, a tangle untraced since 2019, a UPS beeping behind a box of paper, and a firewall zip-tied to something it should not be attached to. When anything fails, the first hour of the fix is pure archaeology — figuring out what plugs into what. We rebuild racks so the next problem starts with the answer, not the dig.

The goal is a rack where every cable is labeled at both ends and every device has a real home — with power protection that works. We document the finished layout — ports, paths, power — so anyone who opens the door next, us or your in-house IT, finds the cable in minutes.
What this service includes
- Full rack rebuild: switches, firewalls, patch panels, UPS units, and cable paths reorganized and mounted properly
- Every cable labeled at both ends, every port mapped, every device identified
- Rack layout planned around your Wi-Fi, cameras, phones, servers, NAS, and the internet handoff
- Power cleanup — UPS sizing and battery checks, and the power-strip situation brought under control
- Written and photo documentation of the finished rack
Problems we fix
- A rack untouched in years because everyone is afraid of unplugging the wrong thing
- Cables with no labels and no map — every troubleshoot starts with tracing by hand
- Equipment on shelves, not rack-mounted, choking off airflow
- A UPS battery that hasn’t held a charge in years
- New gear piled onto the old mess, making every future job slower and riskier

Platforms and environments
We are hardware-agnostic — UniFi, Meraki, Fortinet, and SonicWall gear, Synology NAS, PoE switches, patch panels, and UPS units all get the same treatment: mounted, cabled cleanly, labeled, and documented. We work in small offices, retail, professional practices, and server closets that outgrew their shelves.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need a new rack, or can you work with what we have?
Both happen. If your gear is on a wire shelf or stacked on the floor, we will recommend a proper rack. If you have a solid rack that is just a mess, we rebuild in place — no need to buy hardware you do not need.
Will the network go down during the rebuild?
Briefly, and we plan for it. Recabling means unplugging things, so we schedule the work for the time that hurts least and keep each segment’s downtime to minutes. You will know the plan before we touch a cable.
How do we keep it from turning into a mess again?
Labels, documentation, and one rule: every change gets labeled and logged. We hand you the finished documentation, and if we stay on as your IT partner, the rack stays clean because we are the ones adding to it.
The experience behind it
We have built and labeled racks for studios and offices where the next person to open the closet is on a deadline — every cable labeled at both ends, every port mapped. You work directly with the person who does the build, not a dispatcher sending a tech.
